I am a radiation oncologist at UPMC East and Arnold Palmer Cancer Center (a joint venture of Excela Health and UPMC CancerCenter), board-certified in radiation oncology. I received a medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD and completed a residency in radiation oncology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. I joined UPMC in 2006 and have been dedicating most of my time to clinical care of oncological patients. I specialize in innovative radiation treatments, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), and 4D radiotherapy. I practice general radiation oncology with an emphasis on breast, gastro-intestinal, prostate, lung, and head and neck malignancies. In addition, my special interests include geriatric oncology and palliative care. I hold an academic appointment at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. As a clinical assistant professor, I am available for teaching medical students and medical residents. I am actively involved in development and refining clinical pathways in radiation oncology working as Assistant Medical Director of UPMC Radiation Oncology Clinical Pathways. I lead gastro-esophageal, skin, and sarcoma pathways.
