I provide clinical oversight and evaluation of the various radiation oncology physics at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, and UPMC St. Margaret Hospital with respect to dose, patient safety, and accurate delivery of treatment plans, as well as maintaining a comprehensive quality assurance for all treatment-related equipment. My research interests include patient safety and CQI using FEMA analysis on prostate seed implant and multi-leaf collimator as well as targeted hyperthermia with the use of optically tunable gold nanoparticles in conjunction with near-infrared laser.
