My research interest is based on new methods to protect or mitigate irradiation damage to normal tissue. Part of this project is to investigate the effects of irradiation on the cell and derive new methods to take advantage of the cell’s response to irradiation. This may lead to a new administration sequence for the radiation mitigators, providing a superior method for radiation mitigation and protection. I also have an interest in teaching lab techniques to medical students.
