Amitava Mukherjee, PhD, is a research assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncolgy. His main research focuses are on establishing counter measures to mitigate radiation damage either in bone marrow or in the gastrointestinal system, and radiation induced senescence, lung fibrosis and its prevention.
