Elangovan Doraisamy, MS, DABR, is a principle medical physicist with Magee Womens Hospital of UPMC Department of Radiology, a location of UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. He is board certified in therapeutic medical physics and his research focuses on image-guided HDR brachytherapy and development of novel techniques. Other areas of clinical interest are on knowledge-based planning, adaptive therapy and enhance quality assurance efficiency. In addition to instructing at University of Pittsburgh Department of Radiation Oncology, he also provides physics mentorship for the ASTRO medical student fellowship program and participates in clinical research projects.
