Shada Wadi-Ramahi, PhD

Shada Wadi-Ramahi, PhD, is a medical oncologist with the Department of Radiology at UPMC Shadyside who specializes in SRS and SBRT treatment and delivery. Her research interests include the development of new techniques, process improvement, and QA management, and AI uses in health care. She is passionate about training the next generation of medical physicists and radiation oncologist. Dr. Wadi-Ramahi serves as chair for the Global Education and Training Committee of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), as medical physics consultant for the International Atomic Energy Agency (AEA) in their Rays for Hope initiative, and is involved on various levels with the International Medical Physics Certification Board (IMPCB).
